HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY!

As usual what we normally have to put up with is a dull miserable Bank Holiday Monday. I cheered myself up by applying Sienna X Self Tan last night. The smell is just devine and smells of a beachy holiday. It reminds me of a cocktail, Pina Colada and takes me back to the time i had a 2 week break in Cuba- Cayo Coco. Ahh lovely! I just imagine myself on a sun lounger listening to the beach waves crash against the sand. Oh how i wish i was somewhere sunny now. Even though we do not have the weather yet, even though it is May, you can always perk yourself up with Self Tan. The next morning you wake up with a gorgeous tan.
Sienna X is the brand i use in my beauty studio and i just love the colour of it and it doesnt smell like some other tans even when it is developing. I wake up in the morning and have a warm shower to wash of the tan guide. Do not have a hot bath or shower as it can strip the tan. Moisturise the skin twice a day to keep the tan for longer. Also another great tip when applying is to use a tanning mitt it helps the colour to go on evenly. I love Boots tanning mitt.

Sienna X Bronzing Gel

 Brand New from Sienna X is this Bronzing Gel. It is an instant tan which can be washed off at the end of the day. Fantastic at enhancing a tan, or deepening a tan. If you are a fake tan addict you know how it can leave the skin slightly dry. With this gel it doesnt contain the tanning agent DHA so it is fab to use in between tanning applications when you need to give your skin a bit of a break. Use this in the day and at night after washing it off apply a rich body moisturiser to intensely hydrate your skin.

Review on Dove Summer Glow & Soft Shimmer Deeper Effect

As promised i would give you my feedback on the Dove Gradual Tan. It isn't brand new but it has slightly changed with the Deeper Effect added.
As soon as i applied it to my fair skin i noticed the shimmer particles it contains. I absolutley love anything shimmery or sparkly, i am just like a magpie. The texure was fairly light but very moisturising with the oils it contains. I liked the smell at the start but as i applied it first thing in the morning it did start to smell awful during my working day. I refer the smell to wet dog, mixed with the body's natural sweat did not go down well with me. The colour was light but with a few applications looks lovely.
I definately think this tan looks better over an existing tan, natural or fake. With the shimmer it enhances a golden tan plus it will help to extend your tan as it is very nourishing. 

Chupa Chups Lip Gloss

Yesterday my colleague (aka sexy sam) from work popped out on her lunch break and showed me the cutest thing. Out it came from the brown paper Primark Bag was a Chupa Chups lollipop lipgloss!

Only £2. It looks just like the real thing. The lollipop end is where the gloss is contained and the stick is the lip wand.  There are various flavours, she bought Mango which was a clear peachy shade. It will look gorgeous with all the current fashion trends at the mo. Pop on some gradual tan too for a sweet look!

Hair Dazzles

After watching some episodes of the Beverley Hills Housewives on the Bio channel i noticed one of the women called Adrienne had gorgeous gold shiny strands in her hair. They looked amazing against her blonde hair. After looking around to see where i could get them i found the company Hair Dazzle which sells lots of other coloured hair tinsel. Only £12.99 for 100 strands. Check it out on http://www.hairdazzle.co.uk/ It is probably best to go to a hairdressers to get them applied as it can be a bit fiddly to do it yourself.
These hair tinsels can last in the hair 2-3 weeks and do not damage hair like hair extensions can. You can wash your hair normally and curl and straighten them.
Adding a bit of glitz to the hair will brighten anyone’s day plus it will look amazing against a lovely tan. You could use the Dove Gradual tan which contains the shimmer for an all over glow.

Beyonce has also been spotted with Hair Dazzles in her hair too.

Dove Summer Glow and soft shimmer Deeper Effect

The weather was miserable today, so i decided to go into Boots and pick up a product to help lift my mood.
I found the Dove Gradual Tanning lotion which contains a gorgeous shimmer. Instantly, i thought i must buy and try as my skin is looking a bit pale and uninteresting lately. It only comes in one shade, normal to dark skin. They have added their unique deep care complex which is basically nourishing essential oils to ensure your skin is well nourished and hydrated. Oils penetrate deeper into the skin's layers so when the tan develops it looks healthier and more radiant. With the added shimmer, after a few applications it will show off the tan beautifully.
Trying it tonight so will give you my feedback. I hope to get skin like J.Lo's!
